The CIX VFR Club is a group of Flight Simulation enthusiasts who enjoy flying realistic simulated light aircraft, across a computer generated landscape made up of real photographs, and within an Internet community environment. The CIX VFR Club has hundreds of registered members from many countries, many who are active at any one time. This reflects the world-wide appeal of aviation simulation.
Members meet regularly, to practise their flying skills and hold events such as visits to distant aerodromes. Between meets members exchange news, views and ideas via the Club Forum, or the CIX conferencing system.
Flyers can see each other's aircraft and talk to each other on-line as we fly with realistic, live, simulated Air Traffic Control, thanks to our membership of VATSIM, and its UK Division VATSIM-UK and IVAO.

I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by re-organising and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency and demoralisation.
